“Airwolf” actor jan-michael vincent dies

The american actor jan-michael vincent, who became famous through the television series "airwolf", is dead.
He died already on 10. February in a hospital in the U.S. State of north carolina, as the trade papers "variety" and "hollywood reporter" reported with reference to the official death certificate. Vincent turned 73.
In the 1960s, the good-looking american was discovered by a talent scout. After small roles in TV series such as "lassie" and "bonanza," he appeared in feature films alongside stars such as john wayne ("the undefeated"), robert mitchum ("home") and charles bronson ("cold breath"). In the disney movie "big boy – who came out of the jungle" he took the leading role in 1973.
After the tv series "the firestorm", vincent appeared for two years in the hit series "airwolf" as a helicopter pilot, starting in 1984. After this success his career went downhill. Vincent made the headlines due to addiction problems and domestic violence. In 1996 he suffered severe injuries in a car accident. Later, his right leg was amputated after an illness, as "variety" reported.
