Anticipation of the festival skilfully captured in tone

It is already that it exists – this hour in the advent season. "Because music touches our hearts and makes us happy", said pastor michal osak at the christmas party of the music club of ludwigschorgast in the old parish church. This realization was impressively put into practice by various groups, who captured the anticipation of the festival in sound.

The ceremonial start was made by the brass quartet with rainer streit (tuba), jurgen braunersreuther (tenor horn), marco strobel and thomas neidlein (both trumpet). The routiniers presented the "advent call" confidently and powerfully and gave the visitors a musical welcome.

Flexibility in sheet metal

The flexibility of the brass band was evident in the interpretation of the pieces, which were inspired by the rock-inspired "american X-mas" to the church hymn, flattering in the low registers, playful in the high ones.

At "winter wonderland the clarinet duo claudia goller and michael weber proved their sensitive playing together. The young musicians, strengthened by leader claudia goller and rainer streit, played well-known christmas songs and atmospheric tunes. "It’s going to be a happy time, "devotional yodel" and "frosty the snowman" the young musicians gave their best.

The varied program also provided space for contemplative texts by alexander dippold, claudia goller and michael weber. At the end the applause was rough, the audience rather small. Chairman marco heuschmann invited the members to the cosy part in the club pub schicker. The next day the advent concert for all generations took place in the new church. Under the direction of rainer streit, the ensemble conjured up an impressive soundfulness in the room.
