Samsung introduces first smartphone with windows phone 8

The cell phone is part of a whole series of different devices – from smartphones to tablets to notebooks – that samsung equips with windows 8 and markets under the name ativ. The ativ S has a 4.8-inch (12-centimeter) coarse display in HD quality. The cell phone with the typical tile look of windows 8 is powered by a 1.5 gigahertz processor.

The machine, like the other ativ products, is to be launched on the market before the end of the year. Samsung’s mobile chief JK shin did not name a price for the time being.
