Young liberals found the Habberge district association

The district of habberge is now richer in a political youth organization. The young liberals (julis), the offspring of the FDP, held a groundbreaking event on thursday in ebern at the "stadl" inn a circle.

20 guests, including eight local julis members, came together to bring a breath of fresh air to the party landscape again after almost ten years. Julis district chairman lucas von beckedorff was pleased that the district of habberge is now the sixth district association in lower franconia. The julis district association has a total of around 180 members. Von beckedorff promoted liberal goals: "there must be more pragmatic and better solutions than young union."

The board members were elected by secret ballot. Michael keupp from dampfach has been elected district chairman. The 24-year-old has already been a member of the FDP for three years and stood on their list in the last district council elections. Professionally, he works as an administrative assistant for the municipality of gundelsheim in the district of bamberg. Keupp thanked above all the bamberg city councillor martin pohner, who, in his words, "more than just laid the foundation stone for the founding of the district association" laid. In the first step, the district chairman wanted to get a picture of the young people and find out what their wishes and interests were in a dialogue with the citizens. The julis-circle-association is ready as a contact point to offer its help with all relevant topics.

The executive committee consists of four deputies, each of whom has their own area of responsibility. Florian nestmann from untermerzbach represents the area of finance, samuel schaff from maroldsweisach is responsible for programming, while niklas zillig from ebern is in charge of press and public relations, and leonard muller from breitbrunn is in charge of organization and member support. Furthermore marius kebler (ermershausen), til batzner (ebern) and fabian ankenbrand (altenstein) were elected as committee members. The cash audit is carried out by the two external members nicole malsam and lukas bohn, who have their political home in other julis district associations.

FDP member of parliament andrew ullmann from wurzburg came as guest of honor to offer his personal congratulations to the julis. In view of the currently only male members in the habberge district association, ullmann called for the liberal goals to be feminized: "we are not a men’s association."

FDP district chairman kathrin hiernickel (habfurt) spoke via livestream, as she was away from the district on business. Their deputy harald pascher, who is also the second mayor of ebern, was present in person and promised the julis every support from the mother party.
